Provenance: The original owner was most likely Aaron Sanford, Sr. (1753-1847), who married Lydia Hawley (1731-1798). It then descended to their son Aaron Sanford, Jr. (1786-1872), who married Fannie Hill (1827-1872); to their daughter Julia H. Sanford (1841-1942) or to his son Daniel Sanford (d. 1903), who married Helen Sammis; to his son Daniel (b. 1859), who married Annie Bennet Tomlinson (b. 1870); to his son Daniel, Jr. (b. 1902), to his daughter.
